Every word I write compliments and elevates the UX design. I research and execute my work with consistent consideration to a brand's content strategy. The result is a powerful user experience guiding the user through the interface in an intuitive way.

Signing up needs to be one of the easiest screens in an app. To accomplish this, I separated the "Sign in" and "Sign up" screens, simplifying the user journey.

The "Sign up" screened required guidance to define the password parameters. The designers desired a tooltip while I suggested it be inserted as microcopy directly on the screen. We moved forward with a tooltip with the agreement further A/B testing would be executed in 90 days.

Peripheral Vision

I saw an opportunity and approached the designer with a suggestion. We could create a screen for returning users. Upon sign in, in lieu of going directly to the dashboard, a personalized "Welcome back" screen would reiterate Handshake's friendly voice.

User testing was conducted to evaluate how this screen was received. While most users saw this screen as non-essential, users liked the friendly way Handshake welcomed them back.
